Le Petit Prince set
Small original art/ bookmarks
Handmade Wild Cherry ink
Handmade Safflower ink
Handmade Copper ink
Handmade Pokeberry ink
Montana Gold spray paint (collaged)
-Wild Cherry - harvested from my backyard trees in South Carolina, this ink can range anywhere from deep violets and blues to a beautiful soft grey-green.
-Safflower - the dried petals of hundreds of these flowers were cooked down to make a bright yellow ink
- Copper ink - old copper nails and bits, soaked in salt and vinegar to make bright turquoise
-Pokeberry - classic bright berries familiar to so many, harvested from the woods in Cameron SC and crushed to make a neon pink/ red initially. This ink is fairly fugitive though, and most changed into lovely faded pink
These bookmarks were born out of “ink tests” I was doing while foraging and making inks with natural materials in 2024. After displaying and selling hundreds of them during a recent solo show, I’m now offering some more favorites here.
Approximately 1.5” x 6”, on heavyweight archival watercolor paper.
Each bookmark is signed and dated on the back, with materials listed.
Sold in curated collection of two.
