Hello, my name is Jen Ray, I’m an artist. 

Here you’ll find evolving collections of artwork and things I make offered for sale. Sometimes original paintings and collages; sometimes sculptures made of paper or found materials; sometimes textiles, foraged ink, prints, and other stuff. 

You’ll also (hopefully) find news; recommendations and links; and peeks into my sketchbooks and studio.

Here you will not find long lists of every exhibition I’ve ever done, client I’ve ever worked with, or every piece I’ve ever made.

The Creative Independent is a growing resource of emotional and practical guidance for creative people. They produce interviews, wisdom, and guides that illuminate the trials and tribulations of living a creative life, as told by working artists — including writers, musicians, designers, visual artists, and others. 
I read it most days. 
Criterion 24/7 is such a joy. It recreates the magic of stumbling upon an amazing/ bizarre movie on tv halfway through and getting sucked in and alleviates the seemingly endless slog of researching and deciding what to watch.

iput the time you need to get up and this tells you the optimal time/s to go to bed. Incredibly useful and really helps.
